Training Sessions

Following your initial physical capability assessment analysis, I design a program specifically researched and prepared to address any muscle imbalances, weaknesses, and postural compensations. In addition, the steps to achieve your stated goals are integrated into the training targeting measurable results. I walk you through the program so that you'll know what to expect during each phase in your program. And you also benefit from carefully selected non-prescriptive reading materials from my knowledge transfer process. As we progress in your training you'll begin to feel the difference first, then gradually you'll begin to see the physical results of our collaboration.

Personal Fitness Training

I implement the personal training plan around your goals, appropriate for your physical ability, within your lifestyle and time limitations. The workouts will be varied over weekly and monthly periods to allow your body to produce adaptations to differing stresses to become more stable and stronger.

Golf Fitness

Training for golf involves integrating several key areas of human movement (flexibility, core, balance, reactive, resistance, and cardiorespiratory) to ensure optimization to maintain proper postural positions for the golf swing throughout the sequence of the swing with efficiency and power.

Senior Fitness

Highly specialized regimens are designed to help the client to build and improve fitness levels as well as the ability to perform normal daily physical activities. There is particular focus on flexibility, balance, and stability. It also takes into consideration the impacts of aging on the body, and a program is designed to intervene that process to improve the activity level and quality of life for the senior client.

Corrective Exercises

Let's face it, we all need corrective exercises These employ 4 primary phases that address muscle dysfunctions. They are: Inhibitory Techniques – releases muscle tension in overactive muscles. Lengthening Techniques – increase muscle extensibility, length, and range of motion. Activation Techniques – reeducate or increase activation of underactive muscles. Integration Techniques – used to retrain the synergistic functions of all muscles.

"Foundations of Fitness Workshop"

In this 4 week workshop I focus on the fundamentals for Integrated Core, Balance, and Flexibility training. During the twice a week sessions, I coach you through performing the key exercises for (1) stability, (2) maintaining your center of gravity, and (3) full muscle range of motion. We slowly practice the exercises from Phase I (Stability) of each foundation, through Phase 2 (Strength), depending on your assessment and demonstrated capacity.

At the end of the 4 weeks, you will not only understand why the foundations are immensely important, but know how to incorporate the exercises into your daily routines, whether it be a formal strength training program or your static and dynamic functional activities.
